Warm Welcome to Citizens Bank Park
With wide eyes and huge smiles, Phillies Baseball Academy camper’s carefully stepped over the line separating the dirt from the grass field at Citizens Bank Park, the official stadium of the Philadelphia Phillies. Above their heads was a very special message displayed on the enormous jumbotron that read, “Welcome Phillies Baseball Academy.” Our campers were more than excited to experience what it feels like to look out from the field and up into the stands. They showed Citizens Bank Park what they’re made of by giving their best efforts during the toss and throw program. They also had the chance to warm up in the outfield just like the big leaguers do in-between innings. Great work everyone!
