Knowledge Leads To Confidence
Confidence is key when running the bases. Often times, players believe they are done running once they touch first base. That is not the case! Phillies Baseball Academy teaches it’s campers when and how to advance to second base and have confidence in their decision making. Our excellent coaches demonstrated to campers how to run through the bag, and breakdown afterwards!
Campers then went on to practice touching the front portion of the bag as they ran through first base. Our coaches made it a point to practice looking over their shoulders to find the baseball, in the event of an over throw, before they make the decision to advance to second base. Everyone did an exceptional job today, and walked away confident knowing how to run through the bag! Keep up the good work Phillies Baseball Academy!
