The Awards Ceremony for Week 3 at Wilmington Friends School came a little earlier this week due to Friday’s visit to Citizens Bank Park. We were joined by families, friends and even the Phillie Phanatic just in time for the distribution of the awards to our campers. Coaches selected campers to receive awards such as the Cy Young Award, the Coach’s Award, Batting Champion Award, and the Gold Glove Award. While our coaches recognize that all of our campers worked hard on improving their skills and played great games, these awards represent those who showed the most improvement, upheld the most positive attitudes and supported their teammates consistently throughout the week.

Although the Awards Ceremony usually closes our weeks here at PBA, we still have one more great day to look forward to as we’re headed to Citizens Bank Park for the last day of camp! Stay tuned to hear more about the stadium tour, coaches visit, and a Q&A from a current Phillies player.
